My Biennale Arsenale

The Arsenale was the best part of the whole Biennale, which is why I found it so confusing that people focus on the Giardini pavilions. It's basically one huge long exhibition space where every single room is entirely different. One room will be entirely black apart form a small projection and then you burst through to the next room which is illuminated by hundreds of lightbulbs and into another room divided into sections painted only in primary colours that you have to zig-zag thorough to the background noise of German singing. By the end of it I was totally disorientated and found the whole experience to be well... incredible. If you're reading this then you're wasting time not being there. You just have to go, if you can, just go. Bugger the cost. Go. Go now.
