My Tourist Daycation

At a chance of one in a gazillion I had a day off. I know right? Incredible stuff. Anyway, instead of wasting the day, lounging about the house, periodically bothering the Xbox and playing Accordion to annoy Marcus, I dragged my flatmates out for a daycation in Blackheath/Greenwich.

First up, the Greenwich Maritime Museum. My fascination with boats notwithstanding, it was a great opportunity for Marcus to imagine himself as royalty on a golden barge while Shokho thought about Grand Theft Naval.

Later on that day, in the gift shop, Yota seriously considered packing in fashion photography and taking up on his traditional Japanese heritage of Arctic exploration with these attractive goggles.

A quick trip to the tudor village at Greenwich Palace featured romantic strolls along the promenade.  It's not shown in the picture but Marcus and I spent like an hour making out.

The battle against hunger was lost and a rest-stop in the Railway pub in Blackheath led to an education in the consumption of a Sunday roast, led by Yota.

Shokho then relived her gambling addiction at the fair on the heath.

And the Ikea furniture arrived so the whole house has been refurbished. Here's an image mid-refurbishment.

What a glorious daycation.
