Me: "How come pictures of victims in newspapers are always really low quality while all the other photographs are of normal quality?"
AQA: "Pictures of victims are invariably amateur, as professional photojournalists don't get the chance to photograph them when they are missing or dead."
Me: "Re: victim photos. But pictures of anyone are easy enough to find on social networking sites or even from families. So how come they always look like they were shot using the fist ever camera phone? There has to be a journalistic reason."
AQA: "Grainy images may look more poignant, but AQA still thinks it's practical reasons. Even Facebook photos area amateur snaps, rather than photojournalism."
Me: "Oh ok. I suppose you're right. Thanks"
AQA: "You're welcome. A whales heart is the size of a VW Beetle."
That's the great thing about AQA, they always give you more information. It's great, constant learning. Another time I asked them about the Proclaimers;
Me: "In the Proclaimers song '500 Miles', what is meant by the lyric; 'and if i haver yeah I know I'm gonna be, I'm gonna be havering next to you?'"
AQA: "Havering is a scottish colloquialism meaning to talk jibberish. The Proclaimers were founded in 1983 by the brothers Charlie and Craig Reid."
Me: "Wow, thanks for the extra info."
AQA: "No problem, The Proclaimers were from Auchtermuchty."
Here's a picture of how happy I was with that information:
